The Childbloom Guitar Program

Our son, Trevor, began taking lessons with Al Beers in October 1998 when he had just turned 8 years old. To this day, Trevor continues taking lessons from Al and loves guitar…it is his passion. In a few days, Trevor will turn 15 years old. Keeping a child interested in “lessons” for seven years is a testimony to Al and his teaching abilities. I cannot express enough how super these seven years with Al have been! Al is a special person…he understands not only how to work with children but keep a great connection as they become teenagers, too. Our instructor has shown great patience with the children. When children are grouped together sometimes their learning abilities may differ. At certain times that child may go full speed ahead to achieve great things and at other times move at a slower pace.
